Due to the schools and churches pulling the crap they have with Halloween no one is celebrating it any longer. Really sucks as it is one of my favorite holidays, where kids and adults can play and have fun.

Almost all schools have made it so you can't say Christmas and can't dress up for Halloween any longer. We have turned into such a BS PC nation that we are ruining our kids. This is why they play more video games and watch more TV, we have taken everything else away from them.

It's getting to the point where the kids can't do anything due to the stupid old ***** that spilled the coffee in her lap at a McDonalds drive thru.
That was the case that has set the stage for all the parents to sue someone if "little Johnny skins his knee"....It's getting freaking rediculous...
It really ticks me off that some parents would do something as stupid as some do if their "Johnny"gets hurt on a public playground.
I've taken my G son to several playgrounds and I have watched Mom and Dad busy talking on the cell phone the whole **** time they were there.

I don't think the blame is on the schools, it is on the parents that have pushed things this way. As long as we push our kids into holes of no self expression and parents rely on TV/Video Games to raise there kids we will see more and more Columbines. It is sad we as a society are creating this. Let the kids be kids and get the attorneys out of the schools suing everyone and everything. Make the parents raise their kids instead of TV.

Almost.....
The reason this stuff is going away is because of the bold above...
The schools have not taken anything away from us. Our neighbors have, like mentioned in another post about the book being removed.
All this because they choose to not ignore it which is what a normal person does.
Yours, mine, and our neighbors are suing everyone over THIER rights to not have to do this, see this, read this, or be a part of something someone else is choosing to do.
The schools are only covering their arses, otherwise our taxes would be taking a serious leap every year to cover lawsuit crap.
I know I dont buy into the fact that their poor son/daughter felt slighted because they were not recognized for getting a "C" or for not having perfect attendance, or they didnt make the team.
OUR neighbors are screwing up this country with their PC agendas and they, as well as their lawyers, are getting rich off it at our expense.

It all comes down to money, it stinks that it actually costs less to pay off some idiot who has filed a frivilous suit then to fight it. Thats our wonderful lawyers for ya.

These Lawyers end up being judges and the trend continues.

they can tell kids not to wear costumes and such to school, but you know s#@t would hit the fan if they tried to send someone home for wearing a shirt that says "GAY PRIDE." If you're gay then fine. I don't need to know it every second of every day. Stop throwing it in my face.

I work in a casino, the place where EVERYONE feels that they are owed something and if you say 'NO" then you are looked at as being prejudice.

You can marry someone of the opposite sex and you can sue because McDonalds made you fat.....but you can't say Christmas anymore.

I better stop now. Blood pressure rises during topics like this. I understand fully the need to vent about these subjects. Imagine what it would have been like if Kerry would have gotten president
