Q1. Is Bridgeport OHV park a new park
A1. Yes Bridgeport OHV park is a new park. Over the past year, the city of Bridgeport and several local OHV clubs have been working to open the park. The Lone Star Trail Fest will be the first event held at the park. Q2. Is the Bridgeport OHV park open to the public? A2. The Bridgeport OHV park is not currently open to the public. The City of Bridgeport is still working on the official public opening date. The Lone Star Trail Fest is a closed event and only registered participants can attend. Q3. Is there overnight camping during the Lone Star Trail Fest? A3. No, not at this time. In the future Bridgeport will have tent and RV areas, but they are not ready to take on the liability right now. Wise County Park [(940) 644-1910] on Lake Bridgeport is an option; North Side Marina [(940) 644-5475] is another. Q4. Are there any additional fees beyond the registration fee? A4. No. Q5. Is an OHV sticker required to attend this event? A5. It is recommended that you have an annual OHV sticker. The City of Bridgeport may sell the stickers at this event. But since this is a closed event and the park is not officially open to the public it is highly unlikely that a Texas Park Ranger will be patrolling this event. Q6. What type of facilities are provided at the event A6. The event will have porta potties within easy access of the park. There is no drinking water or showers. Q7. Where will the SWFWDA meeting be held A7. Currently the SWFWDA meeting will be held in town at noon on 12/18. Further details will be provided during the event. Q8. What are the directions to Bridgeport A8. Location: N33 14.121 W97 46.435 are the coordinates for the entry gate. The City of Bridgeport is just northwest of Fort Worth. From the intersection of 380 and 114/101 (Chico Hwy) go north on 101. It's on the left in about one mile. There is a sign that says "Future Home of the…" There's a median so you have to go past it and make a u-turn. Once you get in the gate there should be signs and flags or some kind of markings to follow. http://www.lonestarjeepclub.org/boar...4&d=1219833469 Q9. What are the event hours? A9. Saturday 10/18 – 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM. Registration will start at 7:30 AM and trail rides will start at 9:00 AM. LSJC will provide the trail guides and stage them around the parking and registration area. The ice cream social is at 5:00 PM Sunday 10/19 – 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Registration will start at 7:30 AM and trail rides will start at 9:00 AM. LSJC will provide the trail guides and stage them around the parking and registration area Q10. When do I sign up for trails A10. Trail assignment will happen during sign-in Q11. When will I get my Lone Star Trail Fest T-shirt? A11. T-shirts will be provided during sign-in Q12. What facilities/improvements does the park currently have? A12. Outside of some trail signage, nothing, zero, nada, zilch. Civilization is only two or three miles away from the trails. Anything and everything you cannot do without on the trail you must bring with you, ESPECIALLY WATER. We may be able to arrange some emergency water, but that is not a sure thing. Q13. I can go behind a tree, but what about my daughter? That's not going to cut it for her. A13. Lone Star Jeep Club will ensure that portable toilets will be available all day Saturday and Sunday. Q14. What are my hotel/motel options in Bridgeport? A14. Here are six motels within 10 miles of Bridgeport: http://www.trails.com/all-hotels/cit...=TX+Bridgeport Plus there's Rock Island RV Park and Boyd RV Park in Boyd, TX, Shady Oaks RV Park in Alvord, TX, all less than 15 miles from Bridgeport. Q15. Are there any good eating establishments in Bridgeport? A15. We cannot offer a recommendation on any particular restaurant, but here's a link that might get you a list of several choices. Note: the park is located on Wesco Stone Spur northwest of city center. You may be able to find it on the map. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...s&ie=UTF8&z=14 Q16. Is alcohol allowed or served at this event? A16. The Bridgeport OHV Park is located on city property. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on city property. Q17. If I attend this event do I need to attend the SWFWDA meeting? A17. Attending the SWFWDA meeting is optinal. Most clubs will send a club represenative to this event. Q18. Will Food be served? A18. LSJC will have a hamburger dinner during on Saturday evening. Each registered person will get one free meal ticket when they sign in. Any additional meal tickets will need to be purchased during the dinner. LSJC will not provide lunch during the event. It is recommend that you pack a lunch and bring lots to drink. A19. I was thinking it was pre-registration, but it will probably depend if they have their 125 vehicle limit or not.

If 100 vehicles sign up before October 18, I guess that means you had to be pre-registered to attend.
![]() "Closed" event means [to me] don't show up unannounced and expect to get in and don't get ticked off if you get turned away.

Quote:
If you are a SWFWDA club's delegate and no one else from your club is registered and you want to attend the trail rides and meeting but the 100 slots are filled, we'll make room for you IF you contact president@lonestarjeepclub.org and make arrangements. That's what was discussed by the committee.
