that was pretty fun, man if our parts department at work was even a quarter that size i'd never have to worry about getting parts anymore.

Thanks guys! We couldn't have done it without you!

At last count, we had 118 vehicles show up. That's mighty impressive for a three week notice and a major holiday weekend. The Chrysler folks were blown away. I was blown away.

The only complaint I heard all day was that they didn't raffle off the Dodge girls.

At the end of the event, they corporate people were asking what they could do for the brand enthusiasts. The Business Manager said he would use all the photos and videos shot today to shame the corporate no-shows.

I personally tried to find each Chrysler employee working the event and thank them for their help. As soon as I introduced myself each one of them thanked me for helping put it all together. They had a great time.

They're already talking about putting it together again next year and invited the Cowtown Mopar Club's board of directors to join in a conference call for the after-action meeting.

We really opened the eyes of the corporation today. Who knows were it will lead? I do know that the folks involved today are pretty high up the corporate food chain and have respect for the brand enthusiasts now that they have seen who we are and what we're all about.

I got to hug on a Dodge girl and have my photo taken.

Maybe it had something to do with the 40 cans of food I donated.

Photos are starting to come in. There were several Jeeps there.

When the guy was on top of the building taking pictures I suggested he jump off and aim for a Jeep with a soft top. That turns 'em into a trampoline, right?
I was really hoping someone would have brought a ramp. It would have been cool to set it up out front and stick a Jeep on it.

In other news, I finished the brake upgrade today! It's so nice to have a good firm brake pedal again. Now I've got to move on to the next thing in line. This car will never be finished.

I'll have my little beater out there unless I manage to tear up something else between now and then. At least I'll have matching brakes for the first time since I removed the 4 wheel drums 8 years ago.

I've now officially got the world's only '65 Plymouth with a twin turbocharged fuel injected 440 and brakes from a 2005 Mercedes S55 AMG. Does that make me certifiably insane?

Cool. I love turbo's on street vehicles. 440 fuel injected twin turbos...about what hp and tq are you pulling and what's the "real" redline?
